Drive systems, brand components and service

SAUER BIBUS GmbH is a subsidiary of BIBUS Holding AG and was founded in 1984 as SAUER DAIKIN Systemtechnik GmbH.

Ten years later, SAUER DAIKIN Systemtechnik GmbH was renamed SAUER BIBUS GmbH and since then has been a successful medium-sized company based in Neu-Ulm in the Technology business area of BIBUS Holding AG.

SAUER BIBUS currently employs over 50 people and generates annual sales of around EUR 20 million. The company is managed by Dr. Conrad Ulrich, who is increasingly developing SAUER BIBUS as a specialist for innovative system solutions. Dr. Conrad Ulrich recognized the potential for this early on. But first, the internal structures and capacities for this strategy had to be created.

As an authorized representative of leading brands of hydraulic components and complete services, SAUER BIBUS has always been very familiar with the requirements of customers in technology sectors such as forestry and agriculture, mechanical engineering or plant and unit construction. The drive of the company is characterized by maximum customer orientation and the continuous optimization of all processes, services and solutions. This also explains the change from a pure trading house for branded products to the current market position as a manufacturer of complete drive systems.

SAUER BIBUS attaches great importance to the training of young people. For example, 10 trainees in technical and commercial professions are currently being trained as specialists, which corresponds to around 20% of all employees. The company relies on this high training quota to build up qualified specialists for the future and to familiarize them with SAUER BIBUS's understanding of values and quality right from the start. The chances for young people to take on responsibility after their training and to be able to work independently are excellent.

1994:

Founding of SAUER BIBUS GmbH with reconciliation of activities of SAUER DAIKIN Systemtechnik GmbH – distribution and service for DAIKIN industrial hydraulic products in Europe

1995:

Sales and service for DANFOSS (SAUER-SUNDSTRAND) products in Southern Germany

2001:

Sales and service for HYDRO-GEAR products

2003:

Sales and service for KAWASAKI hydraulic products; move to Neu-Ulm site

2004:

Start of ICVD series production

2006:

Sales and service for SUMITOMO hydraulic products

2010:

Sales and service for Turola and Comatrol products

2012:

Renewal of the contract partnership with DANFOSS

2013:

Expansion of own production with Compact DRIVE and Module Drive

2015:

Award as "D-Built Center" Europe to built in own mounting gear pumps in high pressure

Award as an „Authorized distributor of Argo Hytos“

2016:

SAUER BIBUS is „Authorized Service Center of Danfoss Power Solutions“

2017:

Founded in 1947, BIBUS Holding AG, based in Switzerland, celebrates its 70th company anniversary

2018:

Our customer Sennebogen is presenting its new telehandler 355 E as a world premiere at IFAT 2018 - with a hydraulic system solution from the pilot control device to the drive from SAUER BIBIUS on board

2019:

SAUER BIBUS celebrates its 25th company anniversary at a 2-day event with more than 120 international business partners and guests

Award for SAUER BIBUS as a DANFOSS Premium Partner

2020:

Kawasaki confirms the long-term partnership with SAUER BIBUS as an Authorized Dealer until 2022

With the international positioning "Solution Provider for your Systems", our company develops systems consisting of drive pumps and drive motors, display instruments, software and valve technology, which are composed of the drive, work and control areas of expertise.

This creates solutions that are always individually tailored to the respective customer and his application. Our positioning as a solution provider corresponds to the self-image of developing innovative system solutions with a high level of customer orientation that always generate real added value for SAUER BIBUS customers.

We combine the areas of mechanics, hydraulics, electrics and electronics and fall back on our experienced development team. Intensive, long-term and trustworthy technology partnerships with leading brands are an expression of our development expertise.
